2,3,4,6 - tetrachloroanisole (TeCA)	ng/g	GC-MS	ETS Laboratories
2,3,4,6-tetrachloroanisole, or TeCA, is a haloanisole and is closely related to TCA. Haloanisoles are produced by the biodegradation of halophenols by molds and soil bacteria. Trace levels of haloanisoles, in the low ng/L (ppt) range, can contribute to musty or moldy aromas in wine.

2,3,4,6 - tetrachlorophenol (TeCP)	ng/g	GC-MS	ETS Laboratories
2,3,4,6-tetrachlorophenol, or TeCP, belongs to a group known as halophenols. TeCP, usually originating from pentachlorophenol-based wood preservatives, is the precursor to 2,3,4,6-tetrachloroanisole (TeCA), a haloanisole similar to TCA.

2,4,6 - tribromoanisole (TBA)	ng/g	GC-MS	ETS Laboratories
2,4,6-tribromoanisole, or TBA, is a haloanisole and is closely related to TCA. Haloanisoles are produced by the biodegradation of halophenols by molds and soil bacteria. Trace levels of haloanisoles, in the low ng/L (ppt) range, can contribute to musty or moldy aromas in wine.

2,4,6 - tribromophenol (TBP)	ng/g	GC-MS	ETS Laboratories
2,4,6-tribromophenol, or TBP, belongs to a group known as halophenols. TBP, usually originating from wood preservatives and brominated flame retardants, is the precursor to 2,4,6-tribromoanisole, a haloanisole similar to TCA.

2,4,6 - trichloroanisole (TCA)	ng/g	GC-MS	ETS Laboratories
2,4,6-trichloroanisole, or TCA, is the most common haloanisole found in wine. TCA is responsible for the wine fault known as "cork taint", but may originate from many other sources than cork. Haloanisoles are produced by the biodegradation of halophenols by molds and soil bacteria. Trace levels of haloanisoles, in the low ng/L (ppt) range, can contribute to musty or moldy aromas in wine.

2,4,6 - trichlorophenol (TCP)	ng/g	GC-MS	ETS Laboratories
2,4,6-trichlorophenol, or TCP, belongs to a group known as halophenols. TCP can be present in various materials in winery environments, and usually originates from the use of hypochlorite solutions (e.g. bleach) as sanitizers. TCP is the precursor to the haloanisole 2,4,6-trichloroanisole, or TCA.

Pentachloroanisole, or PCA, is a haloanisole and is closely related to TCA. Haloanisoles are produced by the biodegradation of halophenols by molds and soil bacteria. Trace levels of haloanisoles, in the low ng/L (ppt) range, can contribute to musty or moldy aromas in wine.

pentachlorophenol (PCP)	ng/g	GC-MS	ETS Laboratories
Pentachlorophenol, or PCP, belongs to a group known as halophenols. PCP has been widely used as a wood preservative, especially between the 1960s and 80s, and is the precursor to pentachloroanisole (PCA), a haloanisole similar to TCA.



	This panel measures haloanisoles and halophenols (haloanisole's precursors) in various non-wood materials.
